Episcopal Conference

The Episcopal Conference or National Conference of Bishops within the Catholic Church, is a permanent institution, which is the assembly of the bishops of a nation or territory, exercising together certain pastoral functions in respect of the faithful of their territory to promote conformity to the rule of law as well that the Church gives to men, especially through forms and methods of apostolate suitably accommodated to the particular circumstances of time and place.
